A crisp cool wind scudding over the sand hills and across the sky or is this a snowy landscape?
The image I began with was of a winter beach scene of Lancelin on Western Australia’s Turquoise Coast. WA locals and international tourists fall fast for its crisp white dunes, clean beaches and relaxed seaside lifestyle. The region is magnificent in winter or summer as its still unspoilt and pristine.
I named this painting Serendipity - an unexpected surprise as when some visitors to my gallery said they viewed it as a snow scene. I absolutely love it when my paintings are viewed in various ways especially when the thought of it had never crossed my mind.
This is the joy of paint pouring. Scenes develop in unexpected ways and I'm delighted when others discover new things.
