Gantheaume Point

Acrylic on canvas – paint pouring technique

100cm x 75cm

When the red dust gets into your blood you never forget the magic of the Kimberley region of Western Australia. At Gantheaume Point cliffs and trail tourists can take the well-worn track to dinosaur footprints, over 130 million years old and preserved in reef rock which can be seen at very low tide at the bottom of the cliff. The red/ochre/orange landscape and the contrast of torquoise ocean are dramatic and breath taking. A truly magnificent region of Western Australia. This painting was created using my own unique paint pouring technique which I just love especially for oceans.
