The Angels Are Singing

I'd had a stretch of time of not being able to paint due to a busy work schedule and when coming back to my first painting I found myself standing before the white canvas not sure which of the hundreds ideas I had to start first. So I stood in front of the paint colours and found myself drawn to the pink tones.

As I poured the paint and the scene began to develop I experienced the most incredible feelings of calm and pure joy that this painting has become one of my favourites. It's the confirmation for me that this is exactly where I should be.
